Kepak Foods Division are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Assistant Brand Manger to join our talented foodservice marketing team reporting directly to the Senior Brand Manager for UK/EU. Within this role you will be able to get a varied, hands-on experience and further develop your marketing expertise.   • Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager for UK/EU.
  • Working closely with the wider Marketing, Sales, NPD, Technical & Finance Teams.



  • Key strategic partner agencies, including research, creative, packaging & print agencies.
  • Distributor Head Office teams and wider sales teams.
  • Key account customers.


  • Work alongside the Senior Brand Manager in the development and management of the brand plans for Foodservice UK/EU & Key Account customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring all the enablers are in place for the successful execution of the annual brand plans.
  • Develop and deliver B2B & B2C marketing campaigns from concept to completion aligned to the overall business objectives.
  • Responsible for the activation of brand campaigns with our industry partners, distributors, and key account customers where applicable. On-going management and monitoring of these campaigns to measure success and return on investment.
  • Work in conjunction with the Senior Brand Manager to manage relationships with 3rd Party marketing agencies.
  • Distributor support requirements including head office, sales team and customer presentations/meetings, attendance at key trade events, sharing of brand assets and fulfilment point of sale requests.
  • Lead trade show planning, execution, and management. Working with external agencies and our internal sales and marketing teams to prepare and actualize the show critical path.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with our UK/EU sales team on customer projects, meetings, and general brand support requests.
  • Provide insight & trends for key customers/distributors that will drive their business forward and position Kepak as a thought leader.
  • Key stakeholder in the innovation process and responsible for new product launches in market.
  • Analyse data, product, and market trends to help develop strategies that maximise opportunities for the foodservice brands.
  • Management of marketing budget including ongoing tracking & reporting of spend.
  • Travel will be required mainly within the UK to attend team meeting, distributor/key account meetings, trade events and agency meetings.
  • Make a strong contribution to culture, process & ways of working within the marketing team in line with our goals to continually develop the marketing function in line with best practice.



  • Degree level qualification in marketing.    
  • 2/3 years marketing experience, (Food /FMCG/Drinks sector experience a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills & highly numerate with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills and project management experience.
  • Experience in new product development, packaging and print management desirable.       
  • Team player with experience of working in cross-functional teams.    
  • Strong presentation skills including slide preparation and delivery of a convincing pitch to generate interest in our portfolio.
  • Good inter-personal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Hands-on attitude. Ability to manage detail – to deliver ‘execution with excellence’.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Experience with Salesforce /CRM systems desirable.      
  • Excellent Microsoft skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Central England with access to transport hubs ie. trains and airport


Note: as with all positions, due to the nature of the business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time.  Travel within the UK, to Ireland and Europe may be necessary along with possible international travel.
