REPORTING TO:                      Quality Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Carry out hourly product checks on production line
  • Ensure product is produced to the customer specifications. 
  • Perform routine traceability product checks
  • Investigating and reporting and non-conforming material in production areas
  • Prepare export pre-shipment reviews for DAFM
  • Specification administration
  • Conducting GMP/Glass and Hard Plastic Audits within the laboratory and production areas
  • Partake in any additional projects that will improve the QA area
  • Carry out Trichinella testing in line with DAFM requirements
  • Stock control for all laboratory equipment and chemicals
  • Sample preparation for External laboratory

  

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE: 

  • Food Science/Food Technology qualification or related
  • Previous experience working in a food environment would be a distinct advantage

 

KEY SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES / CORE COMPETENCIES: 

  • Passion to work in the food industry
  • Written and spoken English fluency
  • Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office
