JOB TITLE:                                           Supply Chain Administrator

 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:              Planning Manager

 

JOB PURPOSE/PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

 

Support the smooth-running of the supply chain department through administrative duties. Provide customer support working with 3PLs to investigating any customer delivery issues and assisting customers who may have received their orders late or have received the wrong order.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Maintaining accurate stocks on the systems by ensuring stock transfers and orders are processed correctly.
  • Provide route stock reconciliation for external warehouses and work with the finance department to resolve any queries.
  • Work with the 3PL to communicate any stocks arriving late for picking of orders.
  • Order processing, invoice raising transport booking.
  • Create import and export paperwork for goods moving in and out of the European Union.
  • Provide holiday cover for other members of the Supply Chain team.
  • Liaise closely with Planning, Customer Services / Logistics colleagues, factory operational teams, and other relevant areas of the business to ensure smooth transition of stock production through to a sale to the customer.

 

SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE:

  • High degree of understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes.
  • Experience working within an FMCG/Food Manufacturing Supply Chain department.
  • IT literate with strong Excel knowledge.
  • Knowledge of customs requirements for moving POAO would be an advantage.
