<ol> <li><strong> MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB</strong></li> </ol> <p>To Supervise Frozen Operations area as required to meet the needs of the business.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Contribute to the Logistics Department in all aspects of Operational efficiencies and staff</p> <p>Management.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ol start="2"> <li><strong> POSITION IN ORGANISATION</strong></li> </ol> <p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </strong>Reports to: Frozen Area operations Manager</p> <p>Liaise with: Logistics Stock Control, Logistics Night shift, Logistics Chilled Supervisors, colleagues within Frozen area and production Management where applicable</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Subordinates: Responsible for staff allocated to the area.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ol start="3"> <li><strong> SCOPE OF JOB</strong></li> <li>To ensure completion of required picking &amp; loading activities</li> <li>To monitor and control &ldquo;Blast Freezing&rdquo; activities onsite</li> <li>Ensure compliance with stock movements requirements specifically with regards to scanning and location.</li> <li>Health &amp; Safety of employees under your direction</li> <li>Ensure required training and development of staff is fulfilled</li> <li>To liaise with the wider management team and department effectively and timely</li> <li>To ensure compliance with Stock movement requirements to maintain the operating system</li> <li>To carry out regular stock checks</li> <li>To ensure the smooth integration of product into warehouse from both internal and external suppliers</li> <li>Ensure company discipline procedure is adhered to at all times</li> <li>Analyse and improve staff turnover</li> <li>Manage staffing levels on shift</li> </ol> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <ol start="4"> <li><strong> DIMENSIONS &amp; Communicate to the Frozen Area manager any issues in a timely manner</p> <p>Monitor and react to a changing environment, ensuring any raw material requirements are met where required for production along with picking and loading issues.</p> <p>Stock management via site SI system</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ol start="5"> <li><strong> QUALIFICATIONS</strong><strong>&nbsp; Relevant academic or vocational qualifications</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Food hygiene/health and safety/HACCP</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ol start="6"> <li><strong> EXPERIENCE</strong></li> </ol> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Previous Supervisory experience within a similar environment</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Excellent communication skills</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
